The S55 BMW is a great engine but it has a big design flaw, Due to the Poor design of the crank hub the timing chain and oil pump sprocket. There is a high chance for the crank hub to spin causing potential catastrophic failure due to the loss of timing, even losing the hub itself.
These updated EUROKLASE 4 and RK AUTOWORKS crank hub designs are pinned and become a permanent solution to this problem.
